Can't believe it is already May... wedding is only 16 days away!
All the wedding DIYs are done! Well, 99% done as I still need to put together the seating chart, which will only take 5 mins as I already had all the cards, pictures printed out.
Wedding gifts and cards have been flooding in in the last two weeks. Mom and I went to The Bay last weekend to pick up a few gifts at the Bridal Registry! Joe and I both decided that we will wait till after the wedding to open all gifts and write thank you cards. Our plan is to have it done on May 19 (Monday) and then put the thank you cards in the mail before we go our on honeymoon.
Joe's dad and Sandy will be arriving Wednesday May 15 and they will be coming to our house for BBQ and wine! Both sets of parents will be able to finally meet up prior to the wedding! My bridesmaid Rose, hopefully will arrive on the same day, and she will be staying with us. Well... I soooooo need Rose to hold my hands and bring me starbucks coffee on the wedding day. My dad and sister will be arriving on Thursday May 16, and we will all go out for dinner as the Bride's side rehearsal dinner.
Joe's rehearsal dinner will be Friday May 16 after the church rehearsal. He has picked Yesterday's in the byward market . Yesterdays is a family diner which takes reservations on friday nights. I am sure they will have lots of fun.
I will be throwing a dinner gathering at our house Friday night after the rehearsal. I like mingling with friends and family, especially when some of my close friends and family are coming from out of town.
